Overview
The Device Options section of the Settings page outlines key system settings that control redemption behavior, user interface appearance, and access permissions within the application.
Print Receipt for Redemption
When enabled, a receipt is printed after every redemption. Each receipt includes:
Amount Redeemed
Amount Dispensed
Timestamp
Amount Still Owed (if applicable)
Scanner Timeout
Defines the time (in seconds) the scanner will wait for a barcode to be scanned.
After timeout, the scanner turns off
The application returns to the main screen
Service Screen Timeout
Determines how long (in minutes) any service screen remains open without user interaction.
After timeout, the application returns to the main screen
Max Payout
Sets the maximum dollar amount that can be dispensed in a single redemption transaction.
Protects against fraudulent tickets
Prevents attempts to empty the dispenser
Cassette Empty Threshold
Defines when a cassette is considered empty based on a configurable threshold.
Once the threshold is reached, the cassette is disabled for dispensing
The system will attempt to use other cassettes to fulfill the redemption
⚠️ Note: While dispenses and rejects are tracked, dispenser reject data is not always reliable, and cassette fills may occasionally be entered inaccurately. The threshold prevents the dispenser from falsely reporting a jam when attempting to dispense from an empty cassette.
Background Color
Changes the appearance of the application interface. Available themes include:
Orange
Green
Blue / Teal
Purple / Pink
Permissions
Allows access control configuration:
Change Admin PIN
Add or manage Technician PINs
Show/Hide Settings Button
A toggle option that enables or hides the settings button from the main interface.
Useful for further securing the system in customer-facing environments
