Verify System Requirements
Before beginning the installation, confirm that the kiosk meets these prerequisites:
- Operating System: Windows 10 Pro or Windows 11 IoT Enterprise
- Hardware: Blue SenWin USB dongle, one TRT Box, and one SMIB with an Ethernet cable for each game
- Network: Stable Internet connection
- User Account: Default kiosk user is logged in
Initial Setup
Install the TRT Box into the kiosk and connect it via USB.
Install the SenWin Credit Stream app on the Kiosk. This process is identical to the standard installation and a guide can be found here.
-
Once the system restarts, you will see the Access the Web Dashboard screen.
You may press Skip to continue, or follow the setup instructions here. This step can also be completed later in the Settings menu.
-
Next you will see the Configure Peripherals screen. Select the options as connected to the kiosk, then press the Save button. Configurations vary between kiosks; however, cables are often labeled to help indicate which COM port each peripheral is connected to.
Credit Stream will typically appear as the last option in the list of COM ports. Set and confirm the admin password, which will be used to enter the settings menu.
Once you see the Let's Set Up Your Dispenser screen, use the drop down menu's to select the denominations available in each cassette. Press Save to continue.
-
The kiosk will now display the Home Screen.
-
Open the Settings page by tapping the gear icon in the top left corner. Select Terminals.
Connect the SMIB to the TRT Box using an Ethernet cable, then connect the power cable.
-
On the kiosk, select Add. A list of settings for the SMIB will appear. Configure these settings as needed, then tap Save. Tap Exit to close the Terminal settings page.
Note: If the SMIB will be using RS-232, ensure you exit all game menus before configuring.
Note: Each SMIB requires a printer in the host machine to be paired with the kiosk. For details on pairing printers with the kiosk, see here.
Adding More Terminals
Once the initial setup is complete, additional terminals can be added by repeating a similar process. Connect the next SMIB using an ethernet cable to an available Ethernet port on the previously configured SMIB to create a daisy-chain connection. Do not connect the power cable at this stage.
Locate the DIP switches on the top of the SMIB. Each terminal requires a unique combination of switches. For this setup, set DIP switch #1 to ON.
Connect the power cable to the SMIB.
On the kiosk, open the Settings menu and select Terminals. Tap Add to register the new SMIB.
In Node Serial Address, configure the settings to match the DIP switch configuration on the SMIB (for example, set switch #1 to ON), then select Save.
-
To add additional SMIB units, repeat the steps above:
Connect each new SMIB to the last device in the chain via Ethernet cable.
Assign a unique DIP switch combination for each SMIB.
Configure the Node Serial Address settings in the kiosk to match the SMIB DIP switches.
Ensure each SMIB is paired with a unique printer.
Configure Bill Acceptance Settings
Select the bill acceptor from the device list and toggle the specific denominations to be accepted.
Credit Logs
When reviewing the Credit Logs for confirmation, you can filter results by Date, Current Period, Last Period, and Abandoned Credits.
- Success: The terminal was successfully credited.
- Error: The terminal did not receive any credits.
-
Incomplete: The terminal received some, but not all, credits.
