Overview
This article outlines the complete process to download, install, and launch the SenWin application on a Windows-based kiosk. Following these steps ensures the kiosk is correctly configured and ready for first-time setup.
Verify system requirements.
Configure Windows power settings.
Download and install SenWin.
Configure peripherals and set Administrator PIN.
Step 1: Verify System Requirements
Before beginning the installation, confirm that the kiosk meets these prerequisites:
- Operating System: Windows 10 Pro or Windows 11 IoT Enterprise
- Hardware: Blue SenWin USB dongle and keyboard
- Network: Stable Internet connection
- User Account: Default kiosk user logged in
Step 2: Configure Windows Power Settings
- Right-click Start → Select Settings.
- Navigate to System → Power & Sleep.
- Set all sleep and screen timeout options to Never.
- Close the window.
Step 3: Download the SenWin Installer
- Open a web browser (Google Chrome recommended).
- Visit senwin.co and sign in.
- Create an account if needed.
- New users must complete the DocuSign agreement.
- Select Download App then find and click the Download button located near the Senwin version you would like to install.
- Save the file to a known location.
- If using Edge, select Keep.
- Press Ctrl + J to view downloads.
Step 4: Run the Installation
- Confirm the kiosk is online.
- Insert the blue SenWin USB dongle. A green light indicates power.
- Ensure you are logged in as the default kiosk user (e.g.,
HCU-10000).- Do not install under Admin or Operator accounts.
- Double-click senwin-installer.exe
- Click the Install button.
- If prompted, select Yes.
- Read the License Agreement before checking the "I accept" box and clicking Install.
- Click Finish then Restart the kiosk after installation. SenWin will boot automatically.
Step 5: Configure the Kiosk

Upon launching SenWin, assign each connected device to the appropriate communication port and manufacturer. Select Save after configuration.
Every kiosk may have a different configuration. You may need to follow the physical cables to locate the correct COM ports.

- Create the Administrator PIN when prompted. This grants full service access. A secondary Technician PIN may be created later.
- Enter the denominations and bill counts for each cassette (e.g., $1, $5, $10, $20). Accurate values ensure proper dispensing. Once you've confirmed the correct settings, press the Save button.

Step 6: Pairing the Kiosk with Senwin.co
- Log in to your account at senwin.co

From the SenWin dashboard, click the “Pair Kiosk” button located in the center of the screen.

On the kiosk touchscreen, select the Gear icon to open the Settings menu and select Dashboard Access.

Tap Start Pairing; the kiosk will display an eight-digit pairing code.

On the SenWin website, enter the eight-digit code in the designated field and click Submit.

Enter the location details, then click Save.
Selecting Back to Location will allow you to activate a subscription (proceed to Step 4 in the Activating the SenWin Subscription section below). Alternatively, you may return to the dashboard by selecting All Kiosks from the menu bar.

After submission, the kiosk will be paired with your SenWin account and will appear in the list of connected kiosks. Be sure to exit the settings menu on the kiosk.
Optional: Activate the Senwin Subscription
If the kiosk requires real-time data services, you can activate a SenWin subscription through the SenWin dashboard.
- Log in to your account at senwin.co then, in the left navigation menu, click All Kiosks.
- Locate the kiosk you want to enable and click the drop-down arrow on the far right of that kiosk’s row.

Select Details and Settings.

On the kiosk details page, find the Real-time Data section and click Subscribe in the bottom-right corner.
- On the Add License screen:
- Select an available license from the drop-down list, or

If no licenses are available, follow the prompts to purchase one.
Once a license is assigned, the Real-time data subscription will be activated for the selected kiosk.
