Overview
This article outlines the complete process to download, install, and launch the SenWin application on a Windows-based kiosk. Following these steps ensures the kiosk is correctly configured and ready for first-time setup.

Step 1: Verify System Requirements
Verify that the kiosk meets the following requirements:

Step 2: Configure Windows Power Settings
- Right-click Start and select Settings.
- Navigate to System > Power & Sleep.
- Set all sleep and screen timeout options to Never.
- Close the Settings window.
Step 3: Download the SenWin Installer
- Open a web browser (Google Chrome is recommended).
- Navigate to senwin.co and sign in. Create an account if necessary.
- New users must complete the DocuSign agreement before downloading the application.
- Select Download App.
- Locate the desired SenWin version and click Download.
- Save the installer to a known location.
- If using Microsoft Edge, click Keep if prompted.
- Press Ctrl + J to open your downloads list.
Step 4: Run the Installation
- Verify that the kiosk is connected to the internet.
- Insert the blue SenWin USB dongle. The green LED should illuminate.
- Confirm that you are logged in as the default kiosk user (for example, HCU-10000).
- Important: Do not install SenWin while logged in as an Administrator or Operator account.
- Double-click senwin-installer.exe.
- Click Install.
- If prompted by Windows, select Yes.
- Read and accept the license agreement then click Install.
- When the installation completes, click Finish.
- Restart the kiosk.
SenWin will launch automatically after the kiosk restarts.
Step 5: Configure the Kiosk
- Sign in to senwin.co.

From the dashboard, select Pair Kiosk.

On the kiosk, tap Start Pairing.

Enter the displayed 8-digit pairing code on the SenWin website.
- Click Submit.

Enter the location information and select Save.
After pairing is complete, the kiosk will appear in your list of connected kiosks.
Back on the kiosk, you will see the screen below. An Epic account must be connected before setup can continue.
- In senwin.co, select All Kiosks.
- Locate the newly paired kiosk. Select the drop-down arrow on the right side of the kiosk.

Click Details & Settings.

Select the Gear icon in the lower-right corner.
- Enter the Epic Username and Password.
- Select Connect.
The Site ID and Site Suffix fields will populate automatically after a successful connection.
After the Epic account has been connected, configure each peripheral attached to the kiosk.
- On the kiosk, assign each device to the correct communication port.
- Select the appropriate manufacturer for each device.
- Select Save when finished.
Note: Every kiosk may have a different hardware configuration. You may need to trace the cables to determine the correct COM port assignments.

Note: For HID/USB barcode scanners operating in keyboard mode, select Generic as the manufacturer.
Note: USB printers installed as Windows printers should also use Generic.

When prompted, create the Administrator PIN.
- Record the PIN in a secure location. The Administrator PIN provides full access to kiosk configuration and maintenance.
Note: A Technician PIN can be created later if desired.
- Enter the denomination and current bill count installed in each cassette.
- Verify all values are correct.
- Select Save.
Accurate cassette values are required to ensure proper cash dispensing.

Optional: Activate the Senwin Subscription
If the kiosk requires real-time data services, you can activate a SenWin subscription through the SenWin dashboard.
- Log in to your account at senwin.co then, in the left navigation menu, click All Kiosks.
- Locate the kiosk you want to enable and click the drop-down arrow on the far right of that kiosk’s row.

Select Details and Settings.

On the kiosk details page, find the Real-time Data section and click Subscribe in the bottom-right corner.
- On the Add License screen:
- Select an available license from the drop-down list, or

If no licenses are available, follow the prompts to purchase one.
Once a license is assigned, the Real-time data subscription will be activated for the selected kiosk.
