You will need the Phoenix Tools app and to set the jumper to enable the onboard battery.
The printer is shipped from our factory with the jumper set to positions 2+3, which places it in “Battery Disabled” mode. In order to enable and use the printer’s internal Real Time Clock, the jumper must be moved to positions 1+2.
Please refer to the image below for visual guidance on the jumper location and pin orientation.
Once the jumper is set in the correct position, connect the printer to the PC and open the Phoenix Tools app. Follow the steps below to set the internal clock.
- Click 'Config' in the menu on the right side of the Phoenix Tools app.
- Locate the Phoenix Real-time Clock option in the list.
- Click the 'Set Time...' button to the right of that option.
- In the new window that appears, adjust the settings to your preferred date and time.
- Once you’ve made your changes, click the 'Set' button to apply them.
